Turning over a new leaf…

April 30, 2012

The past few months at Alluring Blooms have been exciting, inspiring, overwhelming and maybe just a little terrifying!

In March we had the pleasure of traveling to NYC. I had the opportunity to study with florists I admire more than words can say. I met florists from all over this continent and now I can’t imagine my life without all these people who’ve turned into amazing friends.

I left NYC inspired to take our business to the next level. I couldn’t be happier to announce that we’re opening an office on the capitol square in beautiful downtown Madison, WI. We’re located at 30 W Mifflin St just above the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. While it’s not a retail store front, this consultation space is going to open new doors for our Madison clients. We are so excited to have a dedicated office space to use for client consultations. We’ll also be adding a new service for our Madison clients – stay tuned for details.

NYC Shenanigans

April 3, 2012

My hubby Matthew and I had the pleasure of taking a week and a half off last month to enjoy a small portion of what New York City has to offer. While the trip was made solely for business reasons – I promised Matthew a couple days that didn’t revolve around flowers.

I did my best to stay true to this promise. The weather was gorgeous and we took full advantage. We walked and walked and walked some more. We got to see the Statue of Liberty, amazing architecture and the lights at Times Square. Over the next few blog posts I’ll share some of the amazing things we encountered on our whirlwind tour of NYC.

Stay tuned! (Matthew took the stunning close up photo above! She was a sight to behold!)
